If you are wondering where all your disk space has gone, you should check your computer for large files. Most Internet users download many files (such as videos, music, and images) on a daily basis. Some of these files might be large and occupy gigabytes of disk space.
My first recommendation to new producers is to open projects from others and study them. Abletunes enables you to do just that and I find myself downloading their releases quite often to learn from and pick apart.
MUGEN is a fighting game engine, which uses a proprietary compiled bytecode for audio and graphics (sprites of characters and other assets) for your computer. It has quite robust support for adding characters, stages, custom character select, and menu screens. There are countless characters available online that people have made, ranging from recreations of popular characters to completely original creations. Adding downloaded characters to your MUGEN game requires editing the configuration files.

I have the vinyl but no working turntable so I have not heard this in at least 15 years. Many thanks! Can you tell me where the three Peel Session tracks come from? By the way the download also includes "Thrang Thrang Gozinblux", your next post.-Brian
I'm sorry, but it's too easy to self-righteously whine about bands "selling out" because they'd like to see a moderate return on their art when your own music is so mediocre that virtually nobody will download it for nothing, never mind pay for it.
No sure what or who you're accusing of making mediocre music?Like your mediocre music?....no wait you haven't made any! You've a right to an opinion no matter what you do or don't do, and so have I/we.Don't remember accusing anyone of selling out either, just being hypocrites, like Steve Ignorant/Rimbaud etc., and failing to move with the times. If there ain't a market for your music, then you don't get any money, simple as.....like my mediocre music thats had thousands of downloads.
Not much to add to what Johny said, let's just say i find it funny when a band re-releases album from 30 years ago at a very expensive price when back then, on the covers of those albums it would say "don't pay more than 3 pounds for this album" ....I also find it funny that that band will file DMCA complaints when people offer downloads for those albums seeing that those albums are all about anarchy and kicking the establishment....A few years ago, Rotterdam punk band The Rondos from Rotterdam, who did one gig in London with Crass, released a box containing all the music they ever released with books full with pictures, stories etc, really, a beautiful box, huge, and they were selling it for about 20 Euro's (including postage), I don't think they made a penny off that, a "work of love" as they say....now that's a different story....
RedLine Stealer is a malware available for sale on underground forums as a standalone version or on a subscription basis. This malware uses browsers to harvest information like saved credentials, autocomplete data, and credit card information. It also takes a system inventory when running on a target machine that includes details like the username, location data, hardware configuration, and information regarding installed security software. More recent versions of RedLine added the ability to steal cryptocurrency. File transfer protocols (FTP) and instant message (IM) clients are also targeted by this family, and this malware has the ability to upload/download files, execute commands, and periodically send back information about the infected computer.
A personal, school, or small business license for Reaper costs $60. If you plan to use it for commercial music purposes and you are grossing more than $20,000 per year from your audio work, it's $225. Reaper is available in both PC and Mac versions, and a Linux version is currently in beta. The program is a paltry 15MB download for Windows, 25MB on the Mac, and 11MB for Linux. You can even run it from a portable or network drive, Cockos says. Reaper is free of copy protection, and you can download the 440-page manual in PDF format from the company website. There's a 60-day unlimited trial version, and, if you buy it, you get free updates through the next full point version. Say you buy 6.5 today; that means you get free updates through 7.99, which should keep you current for several years. Reaper also has a seriously dedicated online community, and it seems the developers are always hard at work providing updates, bug fixes, and notes(Opens in a new window). All of this is very consumer friendly.
The good news: If looks matter to you or help boost your creativity, you can enhance the UI with skins and layouts. Reaper includes plenty of layout examples in the program, and you can download free themes from the company site. Installing a new theme is just a matter of downloading a file and dragging it into an active Reaper project. I gave Apollo4 a whirl, and it's a nice improvement over the stock look. It doesn't affect the dreary built-in plug-ins, but it does change up the main UI in surprisingly thorough ways otherwise. There are themes that make Reaper look like analog mixing consoles, as well as some that come as close as possible to duplicating the UIs of popular DAWs like Pro Tools, Cubase, and Logic. A new Theme Adjuster lets you modify the default UI theme to include in-channel metering, the size of the track names, and different icon layouts, but not for any of the third-party themes.
Reaper's tiny download footprint is wonderful in and of itself, but it belies a key limitation: The program doesn't come with any usable virtual instruments or loops, which is not only a bummer but also adds to the complexity for novices. It's pretty much assumed you'll go out and add your own third-party plug-ins; Reaper supports VST, VST3, AU, DirectX, or JS (Cockos's own Jesusonic format). There are tons of free plug-ins available on the web to stock up Reaper with sounds, and you can also buy professional-level packages like Native Instruments Komplete or IK Multimedia SampleTank if you've got the cash. Once installed on a track, the VSTs are hidden behind the FX button (even though they're instruments too, and not just effects). Aside from that quirk, it's easy to populate your project with many virtual synths.
